Thanks to many years of experience, Polti has extensive expertise in professional cleaning, disinfection and pest control. The innovative cleaning solutions combine water, temperature and pressure to generate hot steam that kills up to 99.999%* of microorganism without the use of chemicals. At the trade fair, POLTI will be presenting its leading products Cimex Eradicator and Cimex Eradicator Plus. All products manufactured in Italy are recognised as ‘Steam Disinfection Devices’ (SDD) according to the French AFNOR standard and have a bactericidal, sporicidal, fungicidal, levurocidal and virucidal effect.
The Cimex Eradicator and Cimex Eradicator Plus models have been specially developed for pest control and work with the patented ‘Superheated Chamber’ technology. This generates saturated dry steam at a temperature of up to 180 °C, which is released in the form of a cloud. This allows bed bugs and their eggs to be destroyed immediately by thermal shock, reaching even hard-to-access areas and killing them without moving them. This hygienic and effective method is also safe for people, pets, surfaces, fabrics and the environment as it does not require any chemical additives.
Ideal for commercial and domestic use, the devices enable quick and safe disinfestation of all rooms, which can be re-entered immediately after use. Their effectiveness is wider respect any other device, in fact they not only assure an instant, rapid and complete death of parasites and their eggs by the superheated dry steam, but they are also effective in reducing allergens by killing germs, viruses and bacteria on any surfaces, even textiles, while the treated surfaces remain dry. To effectively contain the spread of infestations, the Cimex Eradicator models can be used frequently also in presence of people or pets since they do not need any toxic substance.
